Why do I only have left and right channels when playing 5.1 channel recording?

f your headphones only support stereo sound, this may happen. You can choose headphones that support LPCM 5.1 channel, or connect your HDMI out from the capture card to an LPCM 5.1 channel speaker/amplifier to solve the problem.
