When I try to record 4Kp60 HDR content with my Live Gamer 4K card the frame rate will drop to 55fps. I’ve already confirmed that my PC hits the required CPU benchmark. What to do in order to improve on the situation?

Please note that the system requirements we’ve highlighted on our website stating “Intel Core i5-6xxx” refers to “6th generation chipset will limit the max payload size received by Live Gamer 4K to 128 bytes, instead of the required 256 bytes.

1st step: download and run our AVerMedia Compatibility Tool from our official website.

2nd step: confirm that your PC has at least or over 6th generation chipset. Notes: for example i7-4790k, here the first number next to “i7-“ indicates the chipset generation: “4”

3rd step: confirm that GC573 receives 256 bytes payload size (you may use Hardware Info Tool). If it only receives 128 bytes you can’t find related configuration an option might be to restore your BIOS to default settings.
