How to install GC555 Live Gamer Bolt?

A: In order to setup GC555 Live Gamer Bolt for the first time please follow steps below:

STEP 1:

Connect the input source’s HDMI out via HDMI 2.0 cable to the HDMI in port of GC555 Live Gamer Bolt.

STEP 2:

In case you want to use HDMI pass-thru function connect the HDMI out port of the GC555 to the HDMI in port on your gaming monitor/TV.

*NOTE: when playing the game on your PC via the GC555 the video encoding and processing speed may differ due to platform environment (PS specs), video codec, the complexity of preview screen display content. The amount of latency generated from these circumstances might differ. If you are concerned about the latency or would like to enjoy constant smooth gameplay we recommend to use the HDMI pass-thru feature.

STEP 3:

Make sure to update Thunderbolt 3 driver to its latest version. When the update is completed connect the GC555 to your computer with the supplied Thunderbolt 3 cable.

*NOTE: GC555 Live Gamer Bolt only supports Thunderbolt 3, connection to USB Type-C port via USB Type-C cable is not supported.

GC555 doesn’t support connection to USB 3.2 / 3.1 / 3.0 / 2.0 ports.

*Before connecting GC555 to your PC download the latest version of Thunderbolt 3 driver either via Windows update or from your computer manufacturer’s website.

*Please connect GC555 directly to Thunderbolt 3 port on your laptop and don’t connect it to Thunderbolt 3 hub.

*We recommend:

-To update your Windows to the latest available version.

-To update your graphic card’s driver to its latest available version.

STEP 4: 

Download and install the latest software and driver from our web page.

STEP 5:

Start the dedicated software "RECentral" or third party software to record or live stream on your computer.
