Why is there no display output even though I've connected the GC515 properly?
1. Verify the behavior mode of the signal source: For devices like the Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck (in gaming mode), when connected to the source port of the GC515, the handheld screen will turn off, and the image will only appear on the software preview and pass-through monitor. This is normal.
2. Ensure that your signal source device's Type-C port supports.
Use the included C-to-C cable from the GC515 package to connect your signal source to the GC515 port (e.g., iPhone 15 Pro Max, Samsung S24U, which both support this).
3. Confirm that the GC515 is connected to a USB PD port. Since the GC515 does not supply power, it must be connected to the appropriate power source for the handheld device (e.g., the original power supply that comes with Switch, Steam Deck, ROG ALLY, iPad, iPhone, or Android phones). If you are using a power bank, it is recommended to use one with 65W output. Insufficient power or a lack of power connection may cause the software preview or pass-through to display a black screen.
4. If all of the above has been checked and there is still no display, try disconnecting the PD power from the GC515 and then reconnecting it.
