Device connection keeps saying no input signal, how can I fix it?
1. HDCPIf the video input source has HDCP (High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection), check if the HDCP setting can be turned off from the video source in use, and then select your capture card’s HDCP setting by Gaming Utility or AVerMedia RECentral application to be off or on based on the video source accordingly
RECentral HDCP setting can be found in RECentral > Settings > HDCP Detection.
Gaming Utility
Please select the HDMI input source name in Gaming Utility (e.g., Android, iOS device)
2. HDMI input
Please ensure you connect HDMI input from the input source directly into your capture card without via other splitter or adapter. In addition, HDMI cables come in various quality and lengths standard. If the video signal is not detected or the signal is flickering, please try using a premium with shorter HDMI cable or reduce the video resolution or frame rate.
If you are using Nintendo Switch, please make sure you empower the dock that can output HDMI output to your capture card.
3. Video Sources & Resolution
If the video source is other than a game console, there may exist some compatibility issue. If it is an iPhone, please use a Lightning Digital AV Adapter made by Apple. If it is an iPad, connect USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter during usage.
Furthermore, check if the resolution and frame rate of the video source’s setting is supported by your capture card.
4. Version of New Firmware
