A: Please refer to the table below.
3. Troubleshooting
3-1. If my SD card meets the above specifications, why does Streaming Center show a message to format the card to exFAT/FAT32 when I try to record?
A: Backup the files on the SD card, then format it. This is because the SD card space may be partitioned, and the GC515 can only recognize the first partition. Refer to the document "Memory Card Unable to Record - Full Format Required.docx" for more details.
The memory card is unable to record. Please perform a full format.
3-2. Why do I see multiple files on my SD card even though I only recorded one session?
A: The GC515 automatically segments the recording into hourly files.
3-3. Why can't I seek through the recorded file?
A: Use VLC, PotPlayer, or re-mux the recording to MP4 using OBS’s remux feature.
3-4. Can the GC515 record in 4K in PC-free mode?
A: Yes, it can record in 4K30. However, 4K30 recording on the SD card is only supported when the HDMI input source is set to 4K30. If your HDMI input source is 4K60, the SD card will only support recording in 1080p60 or 1080p120.
3-5 Why does playback of videos recorded on the SD card feel choppy?
A: The issue may be due to unstable or insufficient power supply. We recommend using the power supply included with the handheld device and connecting it to the power input port of the GC515.
