What should I do when I get a "No Signal" error in Software Preview when I connect my PS4 Pro to an AVerMedia capture device and I have set "HDCP to Off" in the RECentral 4 settings?
Usually you will get "HDCP" error in software preview, but the "No Signal" error here is caused by HDCP detection being deactivated [OFF] state under RECentral 4 settings. In order to capture PS4 Pro games via AVerMedia device, please make sure PS4 is set and HDCP is turned off: To disable this feature, select (Settings) > [System] and clear the [Enable HDCP] checkbox.
Please note only iOS devices (iPhone, iPad) and andriod support the HDCP mechanism, as we have shown in the RECentral 4 settings. If your signal source such as conole game (e.g., PS5, Xbox) ame console, we recommend keeping HDCP detection to "On".
