AVerMedia: Troubleshooting steps for “device is not detected”/ "no signal":
Before we check below points, please ensure your application software (notes: RECentral, OBS...etc) and driver up to date:
1. OS system: may we know your OS (Windows or Mac)? For example, we recommend you use 4K product on Window 10.
2. Device manager on PC:
Please head into: computer management> device management >sound, video, and game controller
If any yellow signal shows right behind, please right click the mouse and let us know the numerical error code.
*Code 39*: Please ensure whether or not you install the correct driver.
*Code 52*: The driver error code 52 refers to that Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. Probably the driver installed on your computer is signed incorrectly.

3-4 no signal
Can you go over your setup for us? How is the input source wired into your Avermedia device? For example, are you using the passthrough of the GC553, or is it setup as a clone or duplicate of your main display?
What sort of signal are you trying to use with the card? 1080p 60hz, 1440p 144hz, 4K 60hz, etc
Suppose all connections are firm and well connected without via adapter or converter
