How can I enable 10Gbps transmission speed for my GC553G2 on a Mac?
GC553G2 Now Supports 10Gbps on Mac
Mac users can now enable 10Gbps mode in Gaming Utility when using the GC553G2. This feature requires a Mac with 10Gbps USB or Thunderbolt ports and macOS Sonoma 14.4 or later. On other macOS versions, the connection will remain at 5Gbps. How to Enable USB 10Gbps on macOS:
1 Update to macOS15.
2 Install Gaming Utility V3.0.9 or later.
3 Select 10Gbps.
Note: When switching between 5G and 10G, there is a chance that the preview audio may malfunction. In such cases, we recommend restarting the software or reconnecting the device to restore normal functionality, as the audio and video transmission data require re-establishment.
