According to section 889 that titled “Prohibition on Certain Telecommunications and Video Surveillance Services or Equipment” of The John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2019 (NDAA) effective on August 13, 2019, the use of video surveillance and telecommunications equipment and components manufactured by specific vendors and their subsidiaries for US government projects is prohibited.
