RECentral 4 cannot be installed and displays the error message "Unable to write system registry data..."?

This error occurs due to the inability to copy software files to the system or the failure to update registry data. Typically, firewalls or antivirus applications may block the correct installation of the software. We recommend disabling or removing the antivirus application.
