Why is my GC553G2 not recognized on my PC or Mac, showing an orange light, and only outputting 720p?

Not Recognized

First, please ensure that you are connecting to a USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) or Thunderbolt port and using the USB 3.0 C-to-C cable that comes with the GC553G2.




If you're using a Mac, make sure to connect the USB-C port on your Mac directly to the GC553G2 using the C-to-C cable provided in the box, without using any other adapters.




In case your PC/Mac not recognize GC553G2, extend the device plug/unplug unloading time (approximately 10 seconds). If it still doesn't work, unplug the GC553G2 directly from the motherboard's USB connector, restart, and then replug the GC553G2 once the Windows logo appears. 

Orange flash light:

Please make sure to use type c to c cable comes along GC553G2 box, to connect the Type c port with 10Gbps or thunberbolt on your motherboard/laptop

Notes: Please dont use general type c to c cable which may be only charging cable dont have sufficient USB transmission speed.
