If I don’t connect a pass-through monitor, how can I choose a supported resolution not in the default input list?

You can download AVerMedia Gaming Utility (hyperlink); run it and tap ‘Change Resolution’ to choose a preferred resolution, and click ‘Switch’ to replace it.
