How can I enable 4K60 capture (10Gbps transmission speed) for my GC553G2 on a Mac?
GC553G2 now supports 10Gbps connections in Mac environments. Mac users can utilize 10Gbps performance by enabling "10Gbps Mode" within the Gaming Utility.
System Requirements
To use this feature, the following conditions must be met:
1 A Mac equipped with a 10Gbps-compatible USB or Thunderbolt port.
2 macOS Sonoma 14.4 or later.
Note: On macOS versions older than 14.4, the connection speed will remain limited to 5Gbps.
3 Steps to Enable USB 10Gbps on macOS
4 Update your system to macOS 15.
Install Assist Central Pro.
Select 10Gbps within the software settings.
Important Notes
1Audio Issues: When switching between 5Gbps and 10Gbps, the preview audio may not play correctly. If this occurs, please restart the software or reconnect the device. This will re-establish the audio and video transmission data and restore normal operation.
2 Recommended Hardware: To ensure optimal performance, a Mac with an Apple Silicon Ultra series chip is recommended.
