AVerMedia HomeFree AVplus is a network TV streaming device that can broadcast digital TV, satellite TV and AV-in video to PC and iPad via your wireless home network, supporting two users accessing different TV sources simultaneously. It features a built in IR Blaster that allows users to remotely control a set top box device connected to the HomeFree AVplus from their PC or iPad. As a network device, HomeFree AVplus is installed where network and antenna connections are available and users can watch TV wirelessly anywhere without the restrictions of attaching a tuner or antenna to the PC or iPad.

Note: HomeFree AVplus can broadcast digital HDTV with full resolution video quality up to 1080p, while iPad only supports SD quality video due to hardware restrictions.

HomeFree AVplus supports two users to watch different TV sources at the same time!

HomeFree Player is an iPad application available for users to download on Apple App Store. HomeFree player is designed with an intuitive interface that is easy for iPad fans to use.
HomeFree Player supports:

Intuitive interface: Quick & simple changing of channels by tapping or dragging on the iPad screen
Support MPEG-2 SDTV
EPG: Full channel and TV program information with Electronic Program Guide
Sociability: Capture screenshot of TV being watched and share screenshots with friends on social networking sites.
e-Shop list: Allow users to purchase a HomeFree device online instantly if they have installed HomeFree Player on their iPads already.
