2004 AVerMedia Invited All Employees to Clean up the Riverside Park

Recently a violent typhoon affected the riverside park, which has left full of mud and debris. The park became unusable to the public. To let the residents in the neighborhood utilize the park again, AVerMedia invited the employees and their families to clean up the riverside park on September 18. On that day, Mr. Lin, the Mayor of Taipei County, arrived at the scene to cheer on the participants. According to Mr. Lee, the Vice Chairman of AVerMedia, because of the huge damage caused by the typhoon, it was important for us to help in cleaning up the park. This was AVerMedia's third year to take part in this activity. Mr. Lee indicated it would become a regular annual tradition in AVerMedia. Meanwhile, he further expressed gratitude to the volunteers who participated.

Almost three hundred participants joined the activity and they have collected 55 bags of garbage. AVerMedia gave backpacks to encourage the residents and volunteers to clean up our environment. By supporting these activities, they hoped to increase the number of volunteers to participate in the “Clean Up the World in Taiwan” activity in the future.
