Can AVerCaster series stream Live TV signal to a WAN environment?

AVerCaster Pro delivers the best performance over LAN environment, but the product can stream to a WAN environment as well by the following two ways:
1. Adding a media server, such as WOWZA (H.264 format accepted) and FMS, between the connection of AVerCaster device and client devices
2. Compressing the output video at a low bit-rate (less than 500Kb/s) and limiting the number of client devices to fewer than 50.
AVerCaster Combo is a solution only for LAN as it cannot stream and send signals to WOWZA, which accepts H.264 only.

Since WIFI network environment is very complicated and there are many factors which will cause unpredictable problems (e.g. distance/ interference/ bandwidth, etc. ) to the streaming performance, we do not suggest customers applying WLAN solution.

What is my basic network bandwidth requirement?
|
|
A:

In theorem, for digital TV, one MPEG2-TS needs 4MB for SD resolution, 20MB for HD resolution, and one H.264-TS needs 2MB for SD resolution, 10MB for HD resolution. For analog, you can configure the bit rate by yourself and make better bandwidth usage.
