In order to increase market competitiveness and operational performance, AVerMedia Technologies, Inc. (AVT) spun off its PNV business as a separate company. AVerMedia Information Inc. (AVI) is wholly owned by AVT with a registered capital of NT$560 million. This organizational change became effective January 1, 2008. AVI specializes in Document Cameras and digital video surveillance products, while AVT focuses on the TV tuner field and other digital entertainment products.

AVI develops and integrates various technologies creating cutting-edge electronics, optics, and automata for products that provide customers with efficient and easy-to-use solutions for business and educational presentations.

AVerMedia’s headquarters is located in Taipei County’s Chung-Ho. AVerMedia has a talented first-class staff, state-of-the-art technology, and advanced facilities. AVI currently staffs over 400 employees worldwide with design engineers making up over 45% of these employees to devote attention to rapid technological changes and product applications. AVI has obtained more than 100 product patents. Due to our sound reputation and market share, AVI has formed strong alliances with national distributors, retailers, system integrators and value-added resellers (VARs) allowing the distribution of AVerMedia products in over 60 countries. AVerMedia branch offices are strategically located in the US, UK, Spain, Germany, France, China, Thailand, Russia, Korea, and Holland to provide superior customer service and receive rapid market demand feedback for the purposes of designing customer-oriented products and developing proper marketing strategies.
